This is it, the last Cow & Boy strip in syndication, which originally appeared on December 29, 2012. The (syndicated) strip finishes like it started, with Cowboy Billy riding his loyal steed Cow while chewing on a piece of grass. You can see that first strip here:

Cow & Boy continued online at the website Mark Leiknes created ( cowandboy.com ), appearing four times per week. But it lost momentum after a few months and was reduced to three times per week. It was finally cancelled on December 31, 2013.

You can still go to the website and read the web-only strips: go to the Archive link. At the bottom of the homepage you will find links to other of Mark’s works, including Americaville which is the prequel to Cow & Boy. Billy and Martin are in Americaville, but the proto-Cow is Reggie, a rainbow-spotted zebra.

Mark, if you’re checking in from time to time, your loyal fans miss your strip. Hope you’re well.

I still go check that website hoping for new toons. I wonder what ever happened to mark. Did he just get a boring day job and forget about the world he created and the people who thought he was funny as all get out? Miss ya
