I always imagine the late, great Ed Sullivan ordering a Pinot Grigio in the same voice and cadence that he used to introduce the mouse-puppet Topo Gigio.
Pinot Grigio is the new wine to drink, instead of white zinfandel. There must be a big demand for it out there, therefore the tanker to ship. Even now, wine is coming out in boxes. Wow!

I was afraid to dive in because I always beat the “funny” out of the cartoon when I make the attempt. That said, I was influenced by the amount of this stuff that is served at my local watering hole. Plus, Pinot Grigio is “funnier” than Chardonnay.

There was a similar cartoon in the New Yorker several years ago - A tanker truck with Dry White Wine printed on the side of it.
