I always wondered how Ben Franklin got on the biggest denomination of money.

There’s someone else who could have Granted them the favor of breaking something smaller than a hundred….but he doesn’t seem to have been invited.

And another non-president is on the ten…. Maybe they’re both at the wrong party.

Actually, though, no one seems to know why certain people are on certain bills…I’ve heard that the most honored were purposely put on the smallest bills and coins…. because few people back then would have carried anything bigger than a one or a five, so they’d see more of Washington and Lincoln….glimpses of Franklin would be rare.

Same way the smallest coins (before the Roosevelt dime) showed Lincoln, Jefferson and Washington, besides Liberty….

Somehow this doesn’t explain Alexander Hamilton, though…. or even Andrew Jackson…

Or explain why Thomas Jefferson isn’t on a bill, and couldn’t even get a coin till they pushed aside that buffalo.

What about the bank teller that called the police about “counterfeit” ‘90s $100 bills? "They didn’t look right?"

Aside from all the discussion of who’s on what, I’d say there appears to be a whole lot of drinking going on with the threesome. Bottoms up!

I forgot.. been so long since I’ve seen one. My mother thought the old ones were so unlucky she wouldn’t touch one… and she wasn’t the only one.The new ones were widely rejected as well.
