When I was young(er) there was on local station weatherman that loved doing this. A friend told me once he broke into a show he was watching to announce that there was NO severe weather happening.
Tis the season for scary weather in the KC area. We were under all kinds of weather watches this weekend and didn’t get a drop of rain. Nearby, however, the weather was severe and caused much damage.
