When any kid sees their parents sneaking gifts under the tree; the belief in Santa is totally done. That’s what happened to me foraging around in my parents closet; finding the Xmas gift and then it’s under the tree… the next day and they’re telling me it’s from Santa?? No Bueno… (◔_◔)
When we were kids Dad used to tell us that Santa delivered the presents, but Dad had to pay for them. It was a good way of explaining how some kids get thousands of dollars in presents while some (us) only got a few
