Kind of surprised Miles is afraid of a sliding chute.

Then, afraid can be character building…

I’ve never seen a playground where the kids wanting the slide wouldn’t push past the kid unwilling to try.

Get your butt up there, Miles! What are you waiting for?

Maybe afraid of burning his skin on a hot slide. I’ve BT,DT.

Back in the day slides were serious business

If he hasn’t gone up by now, best to take him over to those swings at this point. There will be another recess.

At what age did most of us stop using the slide? I don’t remember it being a thing after I was 10 and discovered skateboarding.

I needed a friend like that growing up. As a kid I spent about an hour at a pool side frozen like that. When I finally dove in the life guard congratulated me and then blew his whistle for people to go home for dinner.

Kevin is a good friend to Miles.

I’ll bet Zombie Miles would have just clambered up, looking for GAMES…

Miles should let his classmates have their turn. If recess time is over, he has an excuse for his fears.
