Years ago I worked in Customer Service (there’s another concept that’s gone with the wind) at a local bank. We were allowed to have drinks on our desks because we talked all day long. One time, my phone rang and I put my soda bottle to my ear and said, “Mrs. Somebody, my I help you?”
We have a lady, married to a serviceman who is overseas, who delivers our paper by car around 4:30 am. During Hurricane Sandy, the presses at the newspaper did an early emergency edition and she was out in that wind and rain at 9 at night hand delivering the paper.
