One of my cats is very tidy. She only pushes the food halfway across the plate, rather than off the far edge. However, she declares that portion “inedible”. So, she comes to me to provide my “magic trick”. I take a butter knife and carefully push the food back onto the near side of the plate. Voila! The food has been magically restored to edibility.
