Alice: In preschool today, somebody pushed baby carrots into the pencil sharpener despite knowing better, so the whole class had to sit with their heads on their desks until I finally stepped forward and admitted I did it. If we ate dinner in front of the TV like a normal family these awkward lulls would not be so noticeable.

This is one of the reasons I believe public schools are criminal and treasonous: punishing everybody for one person’s crime. What does this teach our children?
Alice could’ve used the “Britta” excuse: I only admitted fault so everyone wouldn’t continue being punished.

It would help deter people from doing wrong if they knew their friends would be mad at them for doing it.Still not the best way.
