Alice: Look! There's a bird in the grocery store! Petey: They get in here by accident. There's a whole flock of them. Every Spring they migrate from Fresh Produce to Frozen Foods, and in the fall they go back to Fresh Produce again. Alice: Oh! Petey: And there's an angry herd of stray feral cows that stampedes down the Dairy Aisle every day. Alice: Can we go watch them?

Run, feral cows, run! Being slaughtered for your meat and hide is nothing compared to the suffering from being crammed into a feed lot in which you can barely move, are wallowing in your own excrement, and are being fed a mix of food that’s so far afield from your natural diet that you’ll be fortunate to live long enough to be slaughtered. Run!!!
