That stain’s been there a long time, it seems. I wonder how long the spider webs have been there?

Since when do they have unisex bathrooms at elementary schools?

Look at the pipes! This is the most exquisitely drawn and well-written comic strip I have ever read. Destined to be a new classic.

Alice is a 4 year old preschooler. Probably couldn’t read a bathroom door sign anyway.

    …….

Those pipes DO look rather dark, dank, and foreboding.

I’m sure a lot of preschools have unisex bathrooms. It teaches the kids to close the door and lock it, something some need a lot of practice in.

Most preschools and daycares have unisex bathrooms. Makes it easier for the (usually female) staff to help out with toilet training. (although at four I’m sure Alice is finished with that, but some of her peers might not be!)

Clean the bathroom. Paint the pipes.

I was in an old school the other day. Boys bathroom had a communal 5-foot wide urinal trough. The kind where little boys play foosball with old gum wads and the drain.

I have to agree with Matthews, this is a great comic strip. It’s like “One Big Happy” with a little demented twists.

I have a four and five year old that attend a preschool with only Unisex bathrooms. I think they’re great for teaching privacy and patience.

When I was in elementary school, we had a trough in the boys restroom. Of course, that was back in the 1950’s!
