It’s just a question of time until they’re actually selling sweaters and clothing that will advertise. It amazes me that it hasn’t already happened. There is no end to commercialism!

Are you kidding twypsi? Companies have been advertising on tee shirts for years. All the soda manufacturers, beer companies,frito-lays. And of course resorts, lakes, hotels , campgrounds etc etc. We’ve all been walking billboards one time or another. It’s just not electronic yet.

Not only do many people walk around advertising major multinational corporations on their clothing, they pay a high price for the privilege of doing so. (Plain pocket t-shirt - 4 bucks; T-shirt with somebody’s logo - 15 to 20 dollars). Marketing genius! or we’re just stupid…

The star on panel 2 could be an ad for Macy’s.

When I put an STP sticker on my tricycle, Grampa asked me how much they paid me to advertize for them. You’d have to pay me a lot to go out in that sweater.

As I type this, I’m wearing a T-shirt from the Fritz Winery outside Guerneville, CA. For obvious reasons, I don’t mind wearing their logo in the least. When I walked up to their merchandise counter, I said “Give me one of everything.”
