Poor Dill will never see it coming…

I like Alice’s ring of “tantrum pressure” in the first panel.

Petey knows about puberty.

So Petey does have plans for climbing a tower, I knew it.

With that kid, saving it till hes13 is going to create one unstable prepubescent …Petey with hormones and angst….dangerous!

Alice is still able to speak rationally, so the tantrum pressure has not yet red-lined. But when it does, she’ll make Dr. David Banner’s anger problem look puny by comparison! Petey, you’ve been warned: head for your nearest bomb shelter!

By the time he’s 13, he may actually have something to throw a tantrum for.

Knowing Petey, by the time he’s 13, the pressure will build to a rousing, “DRATS!” … Which will exhaust him and satisfy his tantrum lust for another 13 years.

I can’t tell- is this a rerun or not? Alice looks drawn in the new style, but not Petey.

I feel sorry for anyone in a certain radius of Petey when he blows. Holding back a tampertantrum for so long is bound to be scary

My brood and grandbrood are weird. They don’t get worse at adolescence – usually get better than they were before. One of them peaked in the “terribles” at age ten – another has improved gradually since 2 3/4. Still another held pretty steady for years, but is sinking during the 40’s.

I thought all males went KABLAMO! on their 13th birthday. Why would Petey be any different?
