But apparently you can rush the “look for previous lights” step.

I just spent 20 minutes last night looking for the burned-out bulb in one of those “spiral trees.” I hate those d*mned things. I love the new LED bulbs on my indoor tree: they cost a little more, but last more than a season and don’t burn out one in a string every other day. Now if only I can find an LED spiral tree. And the new photo-sensitive timer I bought this year: get up in the morning and the lights are still on .

Petey is pleased to be able to go indoors. Alice is happy, happy, happy it’s done. Peter has a sense of accomplishment. All is good. How could anyone not be satisfied?

I’m so happy that Richard THompson is still able to do his wonderful cartoons. We need Alice and Petey and Kevin and the kid on the kiddy kar.

Marvelous job on the lights, Dad. You certainly took great pains to get them hung “just right”. LOL!

Geez, I can remember the family fussing with three or four strings of lights that would go out when one bulb failed, and you never knew which one. I didn’t know they still made things like that, but I guess so . . .
