Transcript:
Petey: Are you dancing on the manhole again? Alice: Yeah! Petey: I don't know why you do it. What's the attraction? Petey: It's just a sewer lid. Alice: Petey has no artistic vision. Dill: Want me to go run over his foot?
Keep dancing Alice, and be the Queen of the sewer lid. When I was a kid, putting my Boston Bruins hockey shirt made me equal to Bobby Orr. Alice, enjoy it while it lasts. And Dill’s face and reaction in the last panel? Priceless. My favourite cartoon character, bare none.
I remember playing on the little swing set in the back yard. I would shimmy across the top bar, then make my way back to the starting point at the slide, swing by swing, without touching the ground. In my mind, I was crossing the Himalayas over a river of lava, or something like that. Yep, like Puddlesplatt said, Cul de Sac really takes you back there.

Dunno about “vision,” but Alice certainly has imagination. —And her own enforcer, Dill.

Note that Alice is dancing to the tuneful stylings of an angelic Timmy Fretwork…
