Good thing Petey buried his face in that book in panel 6. It appears that Alice popped the head off her doll. Had Petey seen that there’s no telling what damage it might have caused.

I love Lemont’s face in the next-to-last panel of “Candorville” today. I’ll have to have my husband run the strip off on the color printer so I can put it on the fridge and obsess over it whenever.
