Petey: There's Grandma's house! Alice: Wiw gamafo gefldegakus? Madeline: Alice, take those fangs out of your mouth. Alice: I said, will Grandma throw deviled eggs at us? Madeline: Oh, I don't think Grandma still throws eggs at traffic. SPLAT! Madeline: Grandma! It's us! Grandma: I keep telling you people to get a more distinctive car.

She’s Grandma on which side? I’m betting mom’s side, thereby providing clear evidence of a tradition of first class distaff characters in the family.

I never see you guys on Richard’s Poor Almanac. You are missing something. Just more of the same brilliance.

They don’t make those anymore Grandma.

I understand throwing eggs at traffic, but not why you would go to the trouble of deviling them first. If you’re going to make deviled eggs, then you may as well eat them.
I think I’ll make some deviled eggs.

Funny.

Not funny. She could distract a driver and cause an accident. Also she’s defacing and possibly causing damage to other people’s property. Their only crime is driving past her house on public roads. I would definitely report her to the police.

I also enjoy Richard’s Poor Almanac (especially as I lived in DC for six years), but it loses a little bit right now as the strips are so misaligned with the calendar.

why is she throwing eggs? The election is over.

Well, their car is more distinctive now – with egg splattered all over it.
I love how she says ‘you people’. This is family, Grandma.

What a waste of good deviled eggs, one of my favorite foods!

You guys have got it all wrong.
Grandma is showing her true humanitarian nature by throwing deviled eggs at cars, because it is raw eggs that are most harmful to paint coats. Deviled eggs will mostly just bounce off, leaving at most a smear of paprika and yolk.
