    I remember those! In the rainy seasons they were small lakes.

    We would pull the swing to the side to get into it, then try to sting without getting our feet wet.

    Failed every time.

    Dill is acting a bit Peanutty in panel 4. Even a Little Kid such as he ought to able to scramble and claw his way out of the Under Swing Trench. It’s not the Mariana Trench!
