Petey sure has serious anxiety issues when it comes to chewing his arm.

I really don’t think Petey’s being out of line here; I just might consider chewing my arm off if I was informed I’m being hijacked to someplace called Geek’s Neck.

Y’know, Petey, the chewing-your-arm off thing only works if it’s the arm that is physically caught in the trap. If your arm is not caught in a trap, chewing it off will only result in you being stuck in Geek’s Neck with one fewer arm.

When I was younger I’d chew on my tongue when I was nervous or upset. Mum always gave me fits about having gum in my mouth. Which simply made me more nervous and upset.

Now Petey, would a picky eater really chew his arm off?

Have a nephew who used to suck on his arm. Always in one spot. Had a gruesome looking bruise all the time. My sister was being questioned about this from a critical lady. “And just how did he get that terrible bruise?”

“Oh, just give him a minute, you’ll see.”

The garage door does not appear any lower in the last panel than it did in the middle one. I think Dad forgot to press the ‘close’ button.

Ohh. The ill-fated Geek’s Neck vacation! Petey has the right idea. Mr. Otterloop, turn this van around!
