Alice sure is quite the preschool drama queen, isn’t she?

Each of us is the center of our own universe. Eventually, most of us realize that we are not the center of everyone else’s.

I don’t think her mom is self-absorbed. She really tries to keep Alice in line but some kids are just brats.

All kids know what Alice knows: Everything is about her, and always has been. There was nothing before her (except maybe Petey).

Ah yes…back in the day when only Jack in the Box clowns were scary instead of the Stephen King versions…

What a hoot, seeing Miss Bliss and Madeline Otterloop in costume (panel 1)!

Alice is certainly self-centered and hubristic; but for a four-year-old, experience of the world is very limited. Pretty much, they are the center of the world-as-they-know-it!
