Hope Petey got his tooth back! Oswaldo might try to summon his tooth fairy Mom, Esmerelda!

Brilliant strip but the 5&6th panel would be spectacular on their own! Great stuff

The author of children’s books discovers that a horror novel for adults has in it … gasp! … CHILDREN!

Even the BOW-TIE will never forget the toothless one and self-obsessed one.

The last adult I stood in line for was Ray Bradbury.

The perfect cartoon strip! Oswaldo Twee is an inspired foil; Alice and Petey are typically horrified kids forced to deal with an adult they don’t even know except for his creepy Fontanelle books. And then Petey pops a tooth and Twee faints (what a big baby, ehh?). And, recovering his wits, Twee announces that Petey’s spontaneous disassembly has inspired him to write a new adult horror book. Madeline is supremely impressed with Twee and, like most parents, unaware how uncomfortable her kids were.

Dripping with irony-laced humor, this multivalent strip reflects Richard’s sheer genius!

I remember how cool a loose tooth felt.
