Richard Thompson’s kite-eating tree is much more imaginative than Charles Schulz’s.

I like that this plays well with today’s Peanuts strip where CB is flying a kite. Well, “flying” may not be the correct term for how he does it.
Love the way, Thompson segued the storyline through the panels.
They must have wondered into the Peanut’s neighborhood…
wonder if there are any kites that can be salvaged to fly again?
I’m looking forward to bikini season.
Homage to Sparky.
(Coincidentally, tomorrow is Clean Monday in Greece, when flying kites is part of the traditional celebration.)
