The Absent-Minded Professor perhaps?

I think the inventor died, and the robot continued making piles of uneaten breakfast. Since it wasn’t being refilled, it continued and mimed its actions with empty machines and actions. The machine eventually wore out parts and tried to complete its functions with stuck or broken parts flopping around until it destroyed itself in a fire.

Must be hard to live at Dill’s house. :P

I’m going to have to go through my complete Cul de Sac collection books again some time. There have been more lately that are completely unfamiliar to me. Although I suppose one can’t really expect to remember them all.

I remember in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure that he had a breakfast making machine (at the start of the movie), but it didn’t go crazy or anything.

What?! You guys have never seen a skateboarding toaster before? Pancakes will add some variety to the robotic breakfasts….
