I hope Alice’s conversation on this matter continues tomorrow. I’d really like to hear more. (And, if they’re giving out free donut coupons, I might just become a professional cart wrangler! Yippee Ki-yay!)
Reminds me of several young people at work, every sentence ends in a high note, so I keep on wondering why they are phrasing statements as questions. Took me a while to get used to it. (Don’t schools teach English any more? I recall question sentence inflection being taught in element school.)
No, Madeline! Petey (My Hero) is right! Sing-songy little sisters who make everything sound like a question are very disturbing, especially to a thoughtful introvert….

Peter, the trick is to think it, but, don’t say it out loud!

Dog help me, I’m with Petey. I can’t stand listening to people who phrase everything as a question.

Nice detail: Alice’s food is all together, and Petey’s is separate

That’s dangerous Petey, answering a question with a question, especially when you know it won’t have the desired effect.
For siblings, they sure are horses of different colors.

Well, someone has to get Alice to stop ending every sentence with a question mark.
