Sadly, around 10 years ago, Richard posted a CdS related blog entry:

    http://richardspooralmanac.blogspot.com/2012/08/wash-post-blows-lid-off-cul-de-sac.html

when this strip was repeated that year. It points to the Washington Post article announcing the end of Cul de Sac in 6 weeks and Richard explains why he made that decision.

If only sea creatures knew those languages, they probably wouldn’t wind up having those plastic bags wrapped around their heads.

How did the inert Petey learn so many languages? Not jellyfish, but maybe dolphins could learn to read them.

I think the international sign of a head wrapped in a plastic bag within a circle with a slash would suffice instead.

Well, there’s jellyfish, and there’s peanut butter fish.

Putting a jellyfish over your head is a bad idea in any language.

Wow, plastic jellyfish. Could Darwin have predicted that? Could he have predicted the need for the Darwin Award? Probably.

The first time my husband saw a lot of Man of War jelly fish, he thought they were condoms. Hundreds and hundreds of condoms. LOL A man walking by explained what they were (and not a messy bunch of people in a orgy.

I feel sorry for Mister Otterloop, he wants to educate his children on the vacation, and fails to notice the printing on it.

Certainly an embarrassment for Peter by Petey. But I do love Alice’s closing comment!
