It’s strangely common for children to be told they’d make a good teachers, doctors, and other careers where they’d work with children because of how they understand the child mind, but that seems to change when most people get older. Is it just forgetting, a shift between generations, or do most people lose the patience required?

My parents told me to do this all the time. Would work for like 2 seconds, then the nose would be all stuffed up again and back to sniffling. Just give her some generic sudafed pe, works much better.

So appropriate. Sitting here with my box of kleenex, sniffling away, with a darned cold that just won’t give up.
