9/11/01. Pres George W Bush was reading to a class. An advisor took him aside and told him ‘America is at war’. He apologized to the class and left the school for a trip to a safe-harbor.

This is what I do when I read Cul de Sac, but only because I like pretending I’m Alice.

I find it a waste of energy.

Miss Bliss is exhibiting commendable cautiousness in proposing to call Mr. Otterloop before inviting him into Blisshave Academy, but also she should have learned by now to take Alice’s extreme utterances with a grain or two of salt….
