    I know it’s for comic effect (“literally” is actually appropriate here, grin) but this one has always bugged me. Pouring the sand on the table made even more work to clean it up.

    Nowadays it would be sunscreen instead of sun tan lotion. Back in the day, we even used baby oil to enhance the tanning process. Yikes!
