Poor Petey!

It’s a little late to be going to the beach…school starts soon.

If the sunscreen is over 3 years old, pitch it.

Any Leonard Cohen fans? He was obsessed with sand. Mentioned it in MANY songs, like take this waltz

I know it’s for comic effect (“literally” is actually appropriate here, grin) but this one has always bugged me. Pouring the sand on the table made even more work to clean it up.

That’s just beachy.

A couple more visits to the beach and she’ll have enough for a new sandbox.

Nowadays it would be sunscreen instead of sun tan lotion. Back in the day, we even used baby oil to enhance the tanning process. Yikes!

Better check the expiration date on that sand. If it’s too old you should throw it out.
