Ours was fuzzy puppies with a lamp shade over them. No idea what it would bring on Antiques Roadshow, it’s gone now. Probably $5,000!

True story….I unpacked a ceramic Moose cookie jar when digging out Christmas ornaments last month. The moose’s name was …. and I mean “was” MAX. I left it on a wide window sill, but when I leaned back into it with my Lazyboy chair two weeks ago, it lost it’s head. Sorry Petey!

Oh ours is a Chinese statuette of… A guy sitting on a chair…We went to an anthropological museum and I forgot what the expert told us…we thought it was a Buddha but it was somebody else

Some of the dumbest gift from yesteryear are worth money now. I wish I had kept my LOG CABIN tin bank, and other toys, dolls, etc. ☺️

So much for The Family Heirloom. Alice gets her ten seconds of fun. Grandma gets a brief, insincere “thank you” note, and Mom Madeline gets a headache….
