I’ve got a pair of bats that love to hang around my house during the summer and eat all the mosquitos and other flying pests. I’ve named them Gomez and Morticia.
Batty Alice wants bats to do her bidding. I think every kid fantasizes about flying. I tried umbrellas, capes and cardboard wings, and while fun they were ultimately unfruitful. I think the only time I kinda flew was when in the summer time we would get pulled behind a boat in an inner tube. When the boat would hit a wake you would go flying about 20-30 feet in the air, and if you were going fast enough you would skip another 20 feet across the water. Good Times!

Like I said, she doesn’t fear the fruit bats, but they might fear her.
