I had a boss who once cautioned my assistant never to assume anything. She said “Don’t assume, it’s makes an ass out of you.”
He waited a couple seconds. When she didn’t say anything more he added "Don’t you mean “you” and “me”?
“No, just "you"" she replied.
We both had a good laugh over it later. You’d have to know this woman. The only reason she had a job was because she was married to the owner of the business.
@Tony- Don’t know who said it, but it’s true. It’s 9AM and I’ve been on here and other comics most of the morning-time to make breakfast or start my work out. I finished my 1/2 grapefruit and fed the bird.
Sure, Dry! I watched that show too, but my favorites were always Jeannie and Bewitched (even with Sargent) and I still watch those (and some Cheers) along with new Simpsons, Seattle, American Dad and Family Guy- all good for bedtime relaxation.
My downstairs TiVo has over 100 Season Passes from crime shows to Dr Oz and many decorating and cooking shows, and it also burns DVDs. The bedroom one is a freebie and has a small HD. I have suggestions off on that and only save stuff that will not annoy me or initiate ideas that I have to plan stuff.
NO it didn’t start there, but the production “Felix” (Tony Randall) made of it in the courtroom, that is always how I remember it! :-D That episode was hilarious!

Who said, “Men can only be happy when they do not assume that the object of life is happiness”?
