alot of my friends bought iphones, but i am scared of $100+ phone bills.

Now tell him how you used to walk miles to school, uphill in 3 feet of snow.

As I remember, it was uphill both to and from school.

Reading the comments here, ever wonder what the kids nowadays will tell their kids?

I keep a land line to call service numbers when my cell or internet is down.

Go ahead and spoil him with the new phone he will love to own. Kids are worth it. They are kids such a short time

Party lines, anyone??

I used to spend my summers on my grandpa’s farm in Alberta. He had four neighbors on the same party line. He was last on the line and his ring was one long, followed by four shorts, so we had to listen to each ring, one after another to see if it was for us.

I can’t remember our party line number, but the suffix was “J”.

I never leave my land line in the car or at one of the nursing units.

we had a party line when I lived in the Bronx years ago. I was amazed when we first got a phone with push buttons.
