Strawberries – but there’s a time and place for watermelon as well. And just so you know, Peg would be complaining about the sticky mess in the hamper if they did not disrobe. We were always kicked outside as kids.

Hot days are underwear days! Watermelon on the porch! Don’t forget the salt and the beer!

That’s liking asking which is my favorite cat. As with vegetables, I love any properly ripened fruit. -What’s wrong with standing around the house with no pants?

She’s just jealous. And I LOVE watermelon. Only thing in the world on which I put salt.

the salt seems to up the flavor of the melon, makes it sweeter.

The salt helped the watermellon go down, Fellow Baby – especially since I never liked it to begin with. I also salt my cantaloupe.

Love them both. I’m not a salt fan so none for my melon, but for the hubby, it’s a must have.

I treated myself to whole wheat French toast with lots of cinnamon for breakfast (topped with a sliced peach and some Greek yogurt) and still drank V8. I had cantaloupe and jicama with chili and wild rice for supper (and drank soy milk). Tomorrow morning I’ve got my blood tests early (before breakfast) I’ll take along some almond crackers and V8 to snack before my drive home.

Most melon benefits from salt (especially if it is not at peak flavor).

I agree with the guys, tho’; I don’t wear anything that needs special care to eat messy food.
