Why DO they call it Curling?

And from yesterday (sorry)…How’s the weather by you and where is that?

Because Bocce was already taken.

Don’t know, don’t care. It’s just one of many boring Olympic sports.

I dunno… it doesn’t seem to do anything to their hair.

Beats me, but Ratbrat’s explanation sounds good.

And as for the weather, it’s grey skies and freezing rain here in southern Finland. Very dreary.

Rat rat is right. Caused by degree of spin on stone and the sweeping.

Clear weather. Did not quite make 60s yesterday, but 46 at 8:30 this morning. The past week has been more like a normal Atlanta winter.

In beautiful Northern Idaho it is 17 degrees going all the way up to freezing. It snows one day then the sun comes out for a few days long enough to melt the snow and then it snows again and then the sun comes out long enough to melt the snow and then it snows again and so on. Better than some parts of the nation.

When the Winter Olympics were here in Utah, they couldn’t give away tickets to curling.

Snowing lightly in NW WA. It is supposed to snow all weekend. I am trying to send it to Dry as she is so fond of it. snerk
