Let’s see a ping pong paddle runs about 30 bucks (ea.). Then there are the shoes, shirts (pants?). And the table for at-home practice ($399.95). Oh, and bag of balls (144/$39.99)But wait! No one to practice with? You’ll need the Newgy Robo-Pong 540 Table Tennis/Ping-Pong Robot – $289.00
Some music. My 14 year old daughter listens to some of my 80’s and 90’s music. She even listens to “Abc” by the Jackson Five. My 16 yo son loves Stevie Wonder’s “Part-time Love” and “I Will Survive!”
Going through this with my granddaughter, who was recruited to play JV field hockey by the HS coach. My stepson spent a small fortune to take her to a weekend tournament for some rec team; now he’s dropping mad cash to outfit her for the school season; and practices just started yesterday or the day before. And that doesn’t count physicals and stuff.

Lacrosse? Oh, great. Another sport where he could just sit on the bench and just lazily day dream on the field.

I guess that’s why so many kids play soccer and basketball, but my sports are football and baseball.
