    Actually I always say I learned sarcasm at my father’s knee.

    I always gave him really sarcastic birthday cards…and even in his late 80’s with debilitating Alzheimer’s, he would still get the joke, and laugh.

    I found sarcasm doesn’t work all that well here. While a few will get it, there is always the risk someone will not and take it as a personal affront…

    …or even a personal aback!
