What am I up to? I’m up to 11:23PM, Seems the NASCAR race was 2 hours late, which made the news an hour and 40 minutes late, which made me………well it’s 11.25 now.
Capt Mutt…You said almost exactly what I was going to say…..(except my numbers were lower) so now I don’t know what to say,
I’ll just add that the first time I was told, in my then doctor’s office, that I was half an inch shorter, I told him I wanted my half inch back.Immediately.I said, as seriously as I could muster, that I’d had it when I walked in, and now it was gone, but it was mine, and they couldn’t have it.Just as seriously, he shook his head, and told me they had to keep it, cos they needed extras for some patients who were “medically short,” and he thanked me for being a donor.
Still no question on his page….then again, he wasn’t likely to post one in the middle of the night, was he?
Then I got to wondering why this strip looked so familiar…and I thought maybe I’d seen it before.I knew we had talked about this scene before….Stan’s big house, etc… pretty recently….but it didn’t really seem like a rerun….So I decided to look back for something similar.
So I went back through every Wednesday in March… nada….I tried February… nope.
I just knew it wasn’t earlier…. but I went through January too….. of course not.But Peter and Stan only meet on Wednesdays. And almost every Wednesday….I thought I was going nuts.Then it hit me… there they are…and it isn’t Wednesday… Skip back through recent Sundays….and here it is!Well, not this strip…. but the one I was apparently remembering….If you click it, or preferably right-click it to open it in another window…you will be magically transported to Sunday, March 13th, with the full-size image.
So now I have a question for Tony…
“Are you trying to make me nuts??”
Oh wait…. you can’t.The marbles have already rolled out of the bag.
What am I up to? Getting ready to go and help sister-in-law and brother-in-law prep food and decorate the house for a surprise birthday party for mother-in-law.

Now I’m up to 5’ 11", when I was younger I was up 6’ 1 1/2". So I guess I am not up to as much as I used to be.
