It wasn’t late American time when I posted this on DH a few minutes after Tony (and today’s QotD), but here we go again:Tony saidyesterday evening CEST“Still in Italy. Vatican, yesterday. It’s OK, I guess if you like perfect giant paintings by the greatest artist in the history of the earth along with the sculpture “beta” which almost made me cry… Impossibly ornate EVERYTHING by thousands of of other masters. Ya know…. if you like that sort of thing. Off to Naples today."
I watch classic movies from a time when there Hayes code was enforced. Even the pre-code movies were a lot tamer than the trash being put out by Hollywood today.
“Whew. Rough day in Italia. We drove from Rome To Naples. I gotta tell ya, Naples is definitely not my favorite city. But it’s really just a hub. Today we tour Capri which is awesome. We go by boat from Naples. Capri photo below. Back at you ASAP.T”
“BTW. The kids are having a ball and extremely well behaved. And… most importantly extremely blown way by what they are seeing and learning. VERY engaged and curious. Except the two little ones who are just nuts… but real troopers all of em!Great parents! So proud of them and their families!”
