A better question would be, “Do you still write checks?” My checkbook has become a sort of a notepad, to remind me of my routing/account numbers when I sign up for online billing.
Down to the penny, every month. Yeah, I know it a bit anal retentive but my first career was in banking and auditing so it kind of sticks. I rarely have a mistake but there was that time I was taking massive steroids and oxycodone for two months for my severely strained lower back until I could see a neurosurgeon and have a cortisone injection. The first month – 6 errors. The second month – 7 errors. Third month I was off the oxycodone but still had 2 errors. Boy, that stuff really addles the brain. I was sure glad to get off the steroids and oxycodone. Maybe that explains Rush Limbaugh. I also understand roid-rage better.
I write a few checks now and then. I do balance my checkbook every month. I often get messed up by the bills that are automatically taken out at different times of the month.

Do you still balance yours?
It’s “Giro” here – and since the interest is murder, I avoid overdraft.
