I work with a guy who is always late in returning from break, for one reason or another. I took my time returning from break and told him, “Sorry I’m late, I had a motivational issue.” He seemed to get the hint.
He was at least honest. Now, honestly punish him by having him take out the recycling AND take away his phone for 5 hours minimum. Hopefully he will learn….
