My wife and I always joke about needing a Clapper when we go to bed. Maybe I’ll actually get her one (as a joke gift only — don’t worry, I already got the real gift!).
Kinda along these lines, I bought a couple gifts for my bride back in June. I wish my mind worked as I now have no idea where I hid them. I always thought that life was just a long ride to be enjoyed as you could, instead I found that is a bumpy train ride on the way to the wreck. Here’s hoping I can dig out of this rubble and enjoy this holiday.
One Christmas at the in-laws and before opening gifts our conversation turned to weird gifts. I brought up The Clapper. The room grew quiet. Guess what the in-laws had gotten me for Christmas.
Include a note with it saying “You could have got a pearl necklace, but I got you this instead” for the full effect. Then she won’t need a clapper, she’ll use her slapper.

Don’t. Just don’t.

Try turning off the light when your spouse is sleeping next to you.

Do they?
Yes. Not a very bright idea; I concur with Jeff0811.

A single pearl pendant on a gold chain would be nice.

No clapper anymore. Now they make you use your telephone.

Walgreen’s has the Clapper. It’s right next to the Chia Pets in the gift aisle.

Just get smart plugs and ask Alexa to deal with it or get a light with a remote control.
