I’m not sure who has more trouble with elevators, Horace or Ziggy…

these jokes are about seeing ordinary things in a new way. As long as we’re thinking outside the box, maybe we should ask how it is that Horace can use human tools such as elevators. Maybe he can’t use a keyboard because his hoof is too big and he has to get a human to push the buttons for him. Or maybe he gets a great big keyboard? Jonathan Swift had to deal with such issues when Gulliver went to the land of horses. Or maybe Horace should trot right outside the frame of the cartoon.
