I think Samson is ironic in this again. Looking at the timing in those panels. Horace has his chin so deep on his chest, that he doesen’t notice the weather change…and when he does, it starts all over again on Monday.

Seasonal Affective Disorder (“SAD”, which is appropriately named) seems to affect some people who become depressed by constant grey days. I am probably one; had to leave my old hometown of Pgh, and not just because the cold aggravated my arthritis. Pgh has so many grey days, all I wanted to do was hibernate.
