Dolby speakers? On an LCD TV? All the TVs I see for sale these days have speakers taken from old AM radios. You have to buy a “sound bar” to get decent sound.
Here in Canada no TV Station go off air and display snow anymore however I have noticed that network called GlobalTV when it signs off for the day it plays awesome music while having their Logo on from 4:35-5:00am others However just display the color bars feed with the station ID and mesmerizing beep annoyingly sound. But those are exceptions a lot just play infomercials except for some 24 hour Stations that never go off-air.By the way all Samsung New HDTV are Dolby Surround Sound Nowdays.5.1 HD aside from cheap ones that are labelled as having Digital Sound only. But I have seen Some even having Dolby Pro-Logic DTS Sound no need for A cinematic sound set but most are SRS Sound they sound amazing you could even hear a pin drop provided you still have good hearing.:) Happy Sunday to all

Too dark for me. Remember when we used to be able to watch “snow” on tv?

A program might almost ruin the view.

It’s one of my favorites — Mimes at Midnight.

I’m with Horace! That program is not too disturbing for minding own business and watching TV at the same time.
