“Live and Learn” is kind of “one thing at a time” thing:

First you live through an experience,

then you learn (hopefully) from that experience.

Every day when my granddaughter leaves for school I tell her to Learn Something, it’s a tradition I started when my son was still in school

Learning happens, like when other stuff happens, whether you try to learn something or not

Live, learn, remember (hopefully)

By the way Horace… would you rather live in the country or the summer….?

Not a good Houyhnhnm is he? Horace missed getting a ghost spider implant in his brain all Houyhnhnms normally get when they form in the womb. Occasionally it fails and you get Horace who acts very much like a Human instead of a Vulcan.

The ghost spider turns humans into Econohumans and Houyhnhnms into logical positivists.

Their creator was Hayagriva and used the essence of the spider ghost to make them model beings ages ago. Designed to reproduce as living beings do by fission but occasionally mathematically one fails to get one and another gets 2 of them.
