Actually, petting dangerous animals can bring your heart rate all the way down.

This century has had many philosophical quips and misnomers. Everyone’s a wise guy!

Horace would always research before making statement, though.

I’ve heard it said that every time you pet a dog, you add one day to your life. No disclaimer!

Spot on. I miss my best fur-buddy everyday. He really helped me feel calm at times; just by petting him!

The report I read just said, “Petting an animal can lower heart rate.” My immediate thought was that it probably doesn’t do the human any harm, either. :)
