I took an EMS course and they offered me the fire suppression course which meant to get your certificate you had to rappel off the three story training tower to the window where the instructor was. I’m scared s—-less of heights but by the time the course was up I would love it. Talked to graduates in the same situation, who said they didn’t think they could do it but did. Had to pass, I was a volunteer at home and couldn’t take a year from my business.
They made a good EMT-A out of me, finished 3rd and never lost a patient in my care when I went home.

Well – getting up there isn’t the problem, but don’t have horses major issues walking down the stairs?
And that’s why Horace prefers elevators despite all those jokes on him.

The “fight or flight” instinct is kicking in.

I became a paratrooper to overcome my fear of heights. Then I developed a fear of plane landings.

I have faith you can overcome anything, Horace.

You should have a fear of heights: no banister/railing on those steps? Yikes!

davewhamond creator about 1 year ago
I once took a two-step program to overcome my fear of dancing to Country Music. True story.

Where’s the unbreakable safety rail lol?!

Those stairs had better keep perfectly still, or the situation might escalate.

Did you keep the tag on it so you can return it…?

If Horace continues to stair at the problem maybe it’ll go away.

I’ve watched some safety videos about falling, it’s scary what happens to the human body on impact
