I’m on Mamet’s side on this one. Each one has his own idea of what is important. To Cobb, it’s looking out on the peaceful water, taking in the sounds of the surf and tides. Good, that works for him. If Mamet’s priority is his TV program, Cobb has no right to be critical of Mamet’s choice, as if his choice makes him superior to Mamet due to his choice. (Myself, I would leave the tablet at home, but that’s just me.)
