Heck, we sued to wrap a whole dinner in foil and cook it on the way from Indio to Banning.
Remember the old days with front bench seats covered in plastic, and sitting on that wearing shorts? Ah, the good old days . . .
Still think the best “hot summer” strip was the one where the roadkill exploded!

In 1975 a hot summer day (and we had a LOT of them) was just a hot day, now it’s climate change.
Montego… Mercury’s “T-Bird” HA! that thing was a tank. (took two guys to lift one of the chrome bumpers) (bumpers… look it up kids)

My grandfather had the Montego Brougham. It had opera windows and a high back window you couldn’t see out of. It was also turd muckledy brown. He was sure proud of that thing.
