A n eyelash is about one thousandth of an inch or .03 millimeters thick. Those of you that have to hold your tolerances within an RCH will understand. A moustache hair is about .005 inches thick or .13 millimeters.
If I spread my fingers out, the distance from the tip of my thumb to the tip of my little finger is 9 inches. The width of my fingers excluding the thumb is 4 inches or 1 hand if measuring (for instance) the height of a horse.
